Laptop stands: check stability and compatibility
Check the laptop's dimensions and weight against the stand's stated compatibility. Look at the depth of the supporting ledge, the contact points and whether vents or ports will be obstructed. A product photo with a different laptop is not proof of compatibility with yours.
Decide whether you need a fixed stand, an adjustable stand or something portable. Adjustment adds flexibility, but inspect the locking mechanism and the manufacturer's load guidance. If you type directly on the raised laptop, movement can be more noticeable than when using a separate keyboard.
Measure your available desk area with the keyboard and mouse in place. Cable reach matters too. Do not treat a stand as a guaranteed fix for discomfort: choose a setup that lets you work comfortably, and consider whether a separate keyboard and mouse are needed before comparing the total cost.
This is a buying checklist, not a hands-on product review. Check the exact product specifications and seller terms before ordering.
